Uh-Oh, is your little one beginning to roll?

Did you know that once a baby can roll they usually have the strength required to lift and move their heads when needed. This means you can't really prevent them from rolling on their stomach when sleeping. This is another reason that it is so important to ensure your little one's sleep space is safe and free of any objects + loose items. 

It can seem a bit daunting when rolling first happens but unless you are willing to go in every single time then it's time to embrace the growth and celebrate the small wins of achievement of your little one growing and learning new skills! 


  1. Get longer stretches of night sleep - ⁣ identify if it is a sleep association causing this. Are they relying on something such as a dummy, rocking etc to fall asleep? If so then this more than likely could be contributing to the 2 hourly wake ups overnight. You can gradually start to wean off this association when you are ready and teach your child to fall asleep independently ⁣
  2. 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗱  ⁣- Do you have a 15-28 month old that you are considering moving to a big bed all because they aren’t sleeping well in there cot? ⁣Please don’t do it!! ⁣Moving a child too early is one of the two reasons I see toddlers have sleep issues.
